Our mission is to authentically portray historical figures from the American Civil War era in order to educate the public and honor the service of the persons so portrayed; to aid and promote efforts to preserve the hallowed ground upon which the conflict was waged; and to commemorate and celebrate the history of the period, thereby preserving our common heritage.

The Confederation of Union Generals was founded in October of 2002 by Lancaster resident Mike Riley, a long time Living Historian who portrays Major General John F. Reynolds.  It’s genesis traces back to a Living History event at the Landis Valley Museum outside Lancaster, Pennsylvania in early August of that year. Read More>>
